Technique: Cross-Tacked Tucks (Bubble)
“Centered tucks that split open between stitches that squeeze the folds together.”  (Wolff, pg.173)
Materials: Cotton broadcloth
Spacing/Size: 1” between stitched tucks and 1” center tucks
Folding Methods: Machine-stitched center folds + gathering
Anchoring methods: Machine-stitched folds with the bubble tuck stitch hand-done
Notes and Reflections: Advantages, Disadvantages, Ideas, Evaluations
• This method is less of a detail and more of a focal point

Advantages:
• Larger scale is faster and makes more of a visual impression with deeper gathers

Disadvantages:
• The folds take over in precedence due to their high visibility

Ideas for Exploration:
• Variations in patterning and changing distance between the bubble tucking
